our visionThis duo is built on the force and fluidity of the wind — there’s a natural flexibility of going “wherever the wind takes you”, but having strength in the impetus of the movement. In the years Molly and Vada have spent individually honing their crafts, they found a natural push and pull in their taste and work. The counterbalance of light and dark: Molly’s soft, feminine, and natural photographic tendencies, with Vada’s gothic, moody, and graphic style, have led to a unique and well-balanced artistic vision. While having their own point of view, the wind is to able and willing to adapt to individual client’s needs, can explore new viewpoints, and push their own creative boundaries. This allows them to continue to grow and evolve with their work.
The team values quality work, communication, efficiency, and contemporary ideas with a sense of timelessness. the wind loves clients who are excited about creating and open to and value collaboration. They want to prioritize groups who are trying to do good in the world, shine a light on those who don’t always get the spotlight, and who support valuable causes.

about the windThe initial concept of “The Wind” was born in the summer of 2018. Molly and Vada were living on opposite coasts, working at full-time jobs and dreaming of the days when they would reside in the same city, and have the flexibility to work on projects that excited them. Projects that allowed them to flex their creative muscles more actively and not be confined by the parameters of an established agency or corporate limitations. Projects that would let them travel freely around the world, pitching concepts, executing shoots, and delivering exciting creative assets to a variety of clients. They discussed the timeline of this vision — hopefully by 40, but ideally closer to 30 — and allowed this to drive their decisions in the years to come.
In September 2021, Vada would move to NYC to join Molly, pushing the wind one step closer to actualization. They would take trips for one-off projects, and join each other on respective jobs — they could feel the wind on the horizon.
Fast-forward to 2025 and each was free from full-time work, freelancing and contract work, finally sufficiently paying the bills. One day in a coffee shop in the West Village, they took a look at all the projects they’d completed together, and realized it was time. They pulled together work, bought a domain name, built a landing page for a website, and started putting together the first documentation of their collective.
